Under 10 Side |
The
popularity of the Lurgan Town Academy has seen it produce its first
crop of stars for the future. The boys born in 1998 (U9's) recently
played their first 11-a-side game at Tandragee Rec against Loughgall
Youth. This is the squad of boys that will represent the club at
U10 level next year. Final score was 3-3 and pictures can be seen
here. |

Lose Out In Semis |
Lurgan
Town Seniors lost their recent Semi Final game against Crewe Utd,
going down 3-2. At 2-0 down at half time the Town looked down and
out, but gaffer Stuart Gordon rallied his troops to bring the score
back to 2-2 with goals from Timmy Dillon and Jason Donaghy. They
were, however, dealt a massive blow right at the end when a goal
from nothing ended their campain for silverwear this season. See
